Cookie Policy

These entries live in local storage on your device. They are never sent to our servers:

• quran-prefs: your theme (Auto, light or dark), Arabic text size, whether translations are shown, and the reciter
• quran-lang: the language you picked, so the site opens in it
• quran-last-read: the surah and ayah you last read, used for the Continue reading button
• quran-bookmarks: the ayahs you saved

If you save all surahs for offline reading (or simply open pages), copies of the pages are kept in your browser's cache storage (quran-pages, quran-static) so they open without internet. "Remove" in the reading settings deletes them.

All of these are needed for features you use, and none is used for tracking or advertising.

Fonts and the Quran text are served from our own domain. Recitations stream from mp3quran.net's audio server only when you press play.

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It works without cookies and without local storage, so nothing is stored on your device for it. See the Privacy Policy for details.

You can remove these entries any time by clearing the site data for this website in your browser settings. The site then falls back to its defaults.

Our host, Vercel, processes standard server logs (such as IP address and requested page) to deliver the site and keep it secure. See the Privacy Policy for details.

The Android app does not use browser cookies. It stores settings in app storage on your device and can use Firebase services, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

If we ever add cookies or advertising, we will update this page and ask for your consent before they are used.
