Terms of Use

A free, simple way to read the Quran with a translation, on the web and on Android. We may change, pause or remove features at any time.

We take great care with the text and translation, but mistakes can happen in any digital edition. For matters of religious practice or scholarship, please check an authoritative printed Mushaf and consult a qualified scholar. A translation is an interpretation of the meaning, not the Quran itself.

Use it respectfully and lawfully. Please do not:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload or break into the service or its infrastructure
• Scrape the site in a way that harms its performance
• Misuse the service to harass others or to break the law
• Copy our software or design and present it as your own

The Quran is the word of God and belongs to all Muslims. The app and website software, design, branding and our own code belong to us.

The Arabic text, the translation, the fonts and other datasets belong to their respective authors and publishers and are used under their terms. You may read and share verses for personal, non-commercial use. Please keep attribution when you share translations and do not alter the text.

Donations in the Android app are optional, voluntary and processed by Google Play. They do not unlock features and are generally non-refundable, except where the law or Google Play's policies say otherwise.

Some features rely on third parties such as Google, Firebase, Vercel, Quran.com, mp3quran.net and Al Quran Cloud. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use those features.

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by applicable law, and we would like to settle any disagreement in good faith by talking first.
